Twenty years of looking closely at skin

Tali has spent more than two decades studying skin: how it changes with age, seasons, stress and hormones, and what it honestly responds to. She opened BeautyMark Shop on Girard Avenue to practice skin care the way she believes it should be done, one client at a time, in a setting built for serenity.

Her approach is simple to describe and rare to find. She looks at your skin before she decides anything. She explains what she sees and why she is choosing a particular product or modality. She teaches you the two or three things that will make the biggest difference at home, and she never sells you what you do not need.

That consistency has earned the studio the “Best of La Jolla” award from the La Jolla Board of Review for skin care treatments, facials and peels, and a loyal following of women and men who have made their monthly visit a non-negotiable.
